It’s interesting to me how underrated family sessions are.  Society puts all this pressure on us to document our big moments. Weddings.  New babies.  Graduations.  But what about all that in-between time?  Why is it underestimated so much?  Those small everyday moments are when everything happens!  When life happens!  I love a good portrait, but I want more.  I want to learn the who, what and why behind your faces.  I crave the moments that happen organically…  That are more telling about you and your family than a “good” portrait ever would be.  So why don’t we put as much value on these lesser known moments?

There is too much beauty in the mundane for it not to matter.
