Wedding Photography Process
Initial Consult
We’ll grab a coffee or a drink and you’ll tell me all about your vision for the big day. No worries if you’re not local – a phone call will work just as well. We’ll go over timeline ideas, my approach to a typical wedding day, how you see yourselves using these photos, look at albums, how to book and so on.
Engagement Session
Even if it’s months out, let’s get a date on the calendar as soon as we possibly can! I typically open up my season in April and shoot through October. However, I’m not opposed to winter engagements!
2 months prior
Schedule a wedding venue walk-thru if possible. Usually these take place a month before your wedding. But let’s get a date on the calendar around the 2 month mark. I always try to visit your ceremony location and/or wedding venue with the two of you. Doing so helps me visualize what I’m working with for light. It also gives us an opportunity to scope out locations for portraits.
1 month prior
Final payment is due 30 days prior to wedding. Venue Walk-Thru takes place.
WEDDING DAY
Witness everything you’ve planned for come to fruition!Trust your vendors so you can sit back, relax and enjoy!
10-12 weeks post
The second biggest day of your lives. I’m kidding. Your online gallery is delivered to you so you can relive this day over and over again for the rest of your lives.
12-14 weeks post
Initial album design is sent over via email. You’ll be asked to review: tell me what you love and what you’d like to see changed. Once it’s designed to your liking, you’ll give me the thumbs up for approval and I’ll send to print.
14-18 weeks post
Your first family heirloom will be delivered to your door.
